Description
This work continues a series of works titled Animal Warmth, for coordinated light and sound. Animal Warmth (64) is an installation for sixty light bulbs that are controlled by real-time software to express a never-ending, never-repeating variety of moods. These moods span synchrony and asynchrony, phasing, rhythmic correspondence, and trickery. Each bulb has a sound associated with it and, with the flashing light, rings with a unique pure tone as it comes to life and fades out.
