Evaluation form for the students of CNMAT’s annual MaxMSP Night School. Course syllabus and materials are here: 2005, 2006, 2007.
The”main instructor” refers to you Ali Momeni, whereas the guest lecturers refer to the invitees who began the classes and presented on Friday night.
Most questions are to be answered on a scale of 1 to 7; unless otherwise noted, 1 represents the worst rating and 7 the best. Ideally you should leave no questions unanswered!

Movements of the body are mechanically translated to movements of a joystick; the joystick is connected to a computer and controls real-time audio synthesis and processing. As a result, the participants body movement controls the music.

Mechanical movement translation, from the red weight above (eventually a person) to the joystick in a cage, and countered by the weights below. the strings tie the joystick to a stationary position thereby translating motions of the red weight on top (eventually the participant) to that of the joystick, much in the spirit of frelia.

After an excellent night in Flagstaff, az wasn't sure how far I'd make it so started at 5.30 am. Made an excellent spontaneous turn onto US-180 which inspired me to drive all the way to Austin, arriving at 11.30pm (16.5 hour driving day, didn't know i had that in me)
